Senior ASIC Design Engineer - GPU

About the role

We are now looking for a Senior ASIC Engineer to join our team at NVIDIA. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that drives advancements in artificial intelligence, deep learning, and various computing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and micro-architect a high-performance MMU for a GPU using advanced verification methodologies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions.
• Mentor other engineers on the team.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers across sites to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work or research experience.
• Experience crafting memory subsystem units with properties such as memory coherency and arbitration policies.
• Proficiency in Verilog, build and verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Verdi, Synopsys).
• A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming with C++ and/or SystemVerilog.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing high-performance memory management systems.
• Knowledge of advanced verification methodologies and tools.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Verilog and related hardware description languages.
• Experience with memory coherency and arbitration policies.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $136,000 - $218,500 for Level 3 and $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4, depending on experience and location.
