About the role
The Department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine in the Integrated Hospital Care Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting for senior and mid-career critical care attending physicians with an opportunity for a Leadership role in the Department.
Responsibilities
- Work with a large team of outstanding critical care clinicians
- Participate in rapidly growing extramurally funded research programs
- Work within super-specialized MICU programs in Medical Liver Intensive Care, Oncology Intensive Care, MICU Transition Team, Advanced Complex Respiratory Failure
- Foster the education of fellows and a new Critical Care Advanced Practice Fellowship Program
- Develop, test, adopt and implement health information technologies, data analytics, and clinical decision support in critical care settings
- Supervise, support and mentor faculty and fellows in clinical, translational, or basic science research
Requirements
- Significant prior experience and expertise in program development or leadership in one or more areas of:
- Innovative leadership and management of research protocol design and development, and NIH-funded grants
- Experience in implementation science
- Development and teaching of curriculum and programs in advanced procedural skills including Point-of-Care-Ultrasound
Qualifications
- MD degree
- Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
Skills

Pay
Minimum salary: $515,500
Maximum salary: $749,750
