About the role

The Department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine in the Integrated Hospital Care Institute at the Cleveland Clinic is recruiting for senior and mid-career critical care attending physicians with an opportunity for a Leadership role in the Department.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a large team of outstanding critical care clinicians
  • Participate in rapidly growing extramurally funded research programs
  • Work within super-specialized MICU programs in Medical Liver Intensive Care, Oncology Intensive Care, MICU Transition Team, Advanced Complex Respiratory Failure
  • Foster the education of fellows and a new Critical Care Advanced Practice Fellowship Program
  • Develop, test, adopt and implement health information technologies, data analytics, and clinical decision support in critical care settings
  • Supervise, support and mentor faculty and fellows in clinical, translational, or basic science research

Requirements

  • Significant prior experience and expertise in program development or leadership in one or more areas of:
  • Innovative leadership and management of research protocol design and development, and NIH-funded grants
  • Experience in implementation science
  • Development and teaching of curriculum and programs in advanced procedural skills including Point-of-Care-Ultrasound

Qualifications

  • MD degree
  • Board-certified in Critical Care Medicine
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

Skills

  • Significant prior experience and expertise in program development or leadership in one or more areas of:

  • Development, testing, adoption and implementation of health information technologies, data analytics, and clinical decision support in critical care settings
  • Experience in implementation science

  • Supervision, support and mentorship of faculty and fellows in clinical, translational, or basic science research

Pay

Minimum salary: $515,500
Maximum salary: $749,750
