About the Role
Providence St John’s is a 266-bed state-of-the-art community hospital, comprehensive stroke center, and designated STEMI receiving center. We have a full range of cardiovascular services and are home to the John Wayne Cancer Institute. We have excellent collaboration with the CT Surgery and Neuroscience group.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with daytime intensivists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants, and hospitalist team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care services.
- Able to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting.
- Teach fellows at the bedside.
- Use EMR: EPIC.
Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.
Active California medical license.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Not considering 2027 Fellows at this time.

Competitive compensation of $215 per hour.
Schedule
14-15 clinical shifts per month.
