Responsibilities

• Providing stabilizing and recovery-oriented healthcare services to critically ill patients.
• Conducting thorough medical examinations and tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Managing complex medical conditions and life-sustaining therapies in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
• Explaining patient conditions, health status, and necessary treatments clearly to patients and their families.
• Participating in daily rounds and contributing to comprehensive patient care discussions.
• Ensuring adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in critical care medicine.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in state of Tennessee and Georgia
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
• Neuro ICU or Cardiac ICU experience required

Pay

The posted compensation range of $400,000 - $420,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
