Critical Care Physician

About the role

Join our team of 4 intensivists & 2 APPs at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Riverbend, a 351-bed state-of-the-art regional medical center and level II trauma center. We manage diverse ICU environments—medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurological—working closely with other hospital departments to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Qualifications

- Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO). - Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting. - Ability to work collaboratively within the ICU with all team members and across the hospital. - A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting. - Authorized to work in the United States. - Not considering 2027 fellows at this time.

Scheduling

- 14 clinical shifts per month with roughly 1/3 night shifts. - 2 intensivists & 2 APP’s on 12-hour day shift (7AM-7PM). Nights are covered by 2 intensivists (7PM-7AM). - We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.
