About the role

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), is seeking a Senior Analyst, Brand Strategy & Measurement to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the impact of KAYAK's brand marketing investments across global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional marketing and media teams to define measurement priorities, establish KPIs, build learning agendas, and align measurement approaches with business objectives.
  • Develop structured testing roadmaps across channels and campaigns, selecting the most appropriate methodologies based on the business question, available budget, and data availability.
  • Design and support measurement programs including incrementality testing, geo holdouts, brand lift studies, media mix modeling (MMM), and other experimental approaches.
  • Collaborate across teams to implement measurement plans, monitor progress, and ensure findings are translated into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Translate complex analyses into compelling narratives that connect marketing performance to business outcomes and inform future investment decisions.
  • Partner with external analytics agencies and measurement vendors to define data requirements, ensure successful delivery of data inputs, and support the execution of measurement studies.
  • Own the day-to-day management and analysis of KAYAK's global brand tracking program, including vendor coordination, study implementation, and insight generation.
  • Monitor key marketing and business performance indicators, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks across markets.
  • Conduct analyses to support strategic decision-making, annual planning, performance diagnosis, audience understanding, and investment optimization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of KAYAK's measurement framework by identifying new methodologies, tools, and opportunities to improve how we understand marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing analytics, measurement, paid media, strategy, or a related analytical function — ideally within a consumer technology, travel, or digital-first environment.
  • Experience evaluating and optimizing marketing performance across digital and/or offline media channels.
  • Familiarity with marketing measurement approaches such as incrementality testing, attribution, brand lift studies, or media mix modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to influence business decisions and improve marketing performance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis; experience with Python is a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adjust, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear, confident communication skills — you can explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A curious, collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in continuously improving how marketing effectiveness is measured and understood.
  • Experience working with external agencies, research vendors, or measurement partners is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Pay and Schedule

The base salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is eligible for an annual bonus. Schedule

This position requires working from the KAYAK office in Cambridge, MA, 3 days per week.
