Senior Analyst
About the role
Kearney & Company is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support one of the Federal government’s largest agencies. The position involves performing data analytics, robotics, and machine learning tasks, taking and applying training in these areas, and assisting in the drafting and preparation of project deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analytics, robotics, and machine learning procedures
- Take and apply training in data analytics and robotics and machine learning
- Learn new programming languages quickly
- Absorb and demonstrate awareness of Federal Government’s financial and management responsibilities
- Aid in the drafting and preparation of project deliverables
- Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Balance multiple projects concurrently
- Utilize technology to share knowledge with team members, develop skills, and continually learn
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client's environment
- Show strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Show strong digital dexterity: Execute work independently, adapt to new technologies, and contribute to a better business solution or outcome
- Travel opportunities (depending on client needs)
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Technology, Cyber Security or related fields
- 2 years of Python development experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in-person 2 days per week in the Alexandria VA area
- Active Interim U.S. Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient skills in MS Excel
- Experience with SharePoint, Oracle, ACL Analytics, PowerBI, and/or Access databases

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $69,000 and $105,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
