Responsibilities
- Aid in the creation and execution of additional reporting support tools.
- Investigate various manufacturer contract issues proactively and seek opportunities for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with other internal teams to implement non-financial tools such as market assessments, internal support requirements for contractual agreements, and tracking of client elections.
- Participate in Trade Relations corporate projects, including interactions with leadership, and contribute to IT, client ad hoc reporting, and Finance/Treasury initiatives.
- Assist in the invoicing process, perform financial analysis, conduct rebate audits, handle client elections, and respond to inquiries.
- Facilitate client questions regarding invoiced products, processes, and corresponding rates and qualifications.
- Assess, implement, and communicate critical information to rebate invoicing vendors for the maintenance of client elections, pricing bid grids, and manufacturer contract updates.
- Analyze and resolve contract disputes, collaborating with vendors to ensure timely rebate payments from manufacturers.
- Reconcile manufacturer payments against invoiced amounts to prepare for client payments.
- Support client implementation and audit requests.
- Supervise and train rebate analysts as needed.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field.
- At least 5-8 years of work experience in health care analyst roles, including experience in managed care or specialty pharmacy with at least 3 years at a health plan or pharmacy benefit manager (PBM).
- Strong data management and analytics skills, capable of handling large datasets effectively.
- Experience in 340B programs required.
- Excellent communication and client support skills, with the ability to facilitate changes and influence stakeholders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to anticipate and address issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Access, Excel, and Word.
- Knowledge of PBM and health care industry, specifically in medical and/or pharmacy drug management.
- Experience in database management and data analytics, including familiarity with tools like SAS, Teradata, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.
Qualifications
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in medical and/or pharmacy rebate knowledge.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience in database management.
- Experience with Big Data and data analytics.
- Experience with database tools such as SAS, Teradata, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.
Pay
$88,500.00 - $110,500.00
