Senior Airport Business Finance Manager
About the role
The Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking a Senior Airport Business Finance Manager to provide strategic financial leadership, lead financial planning and oversight, and build trusted partnerships across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate complex commercial opportunities, capital investments, lease structures, and business initiatives, delivering data-driven recommendations that support long-term growth, financial sustainability, and organizational objectives.
- Develop and oversee financial plans, budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies, and performance metrics, ensuring sound fiscal stewardship, accountability, and informed decision-making.
- Leverage financial, operational, and market intelligence to identify emerging trends, assess risks, uncover revenue opportunities, and enhance commercial performance through thoughtful analysis and continuous improvement.
- Navigate complexity and competing priorities, providing financial governance, ensuring compliance, strengthening internal controls, and mentoring staff to foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent experience, with an advanced degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in economic/business analysis or business/financial policy development, with exposure to aviation, transportation, or real estate environments considered an asset.

- Demonstrated advanced analytical capability, strong business acumen, and the ability to develop and present clear, data-driven recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with proficiency in business tools and the ability to guide staff, manage complex initiatives, and produce well-structured written materials.
