Senior Airfield Electrical Engineer

About the role

RS&H is seeking an Senior Airfield Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation Practice in Las Vegas. RS&H is passionate about aviation and designs and manages a wide variety of electrical projects at airports throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering solutions for airfield projects
• Prepare design drawings for airfield lighting systems, FAA navigational aid systems, and communication systems
• Coordinate and work closely with other engineers to develop specifications, reports, and cost estimates
• Lead, develop, and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity
• Initiate and maintain client contact
• Aid the team in winning project work

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
• Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience in the aviation industry
• Experience working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Registered PE license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Benefits

Typical salary range for this position in Las Vegas is $145,000 - $165,000 and commensurate with experience relative to the position. An Equal Opportunity Employer.
