Senior Air-to-Air Modeling and Simulation Analyst
About the role

Responsibilities
- Analyze the effectiveness and employment of airborne systems operating in complex environments using tools such as AFSIM.
- Develop, evaluate, and analyze tactics and concepts of employment for ground breaking technologies such as air platforms, sensors, countermeasures, and weapons including manned-unmanned vehicles.
- Work with a team of analysts who will benefit from your experience, and senior engineers with whom you will guide the direction of analysis.
- Present your work through briefings to both technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.
- Engage in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward independent initiative.
Requirements
- Meet our minimum qualification for the job if you have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related area.
- Have demonstrated excellence in conducting mission-level modeling, simulation, & analysis in the air-to-air domain with tools such as AFSIM or Brawler.
- Be skilled in conducting quantitative analysis, rapidly learning new and exciting concepts.
- Have strong scripting and programming skills with any of the following languages: Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or Java.
- Work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and other contractors.
- Able to obtain the associated required Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
- Able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related area.
- Have demonstrated excellence leading a team performing mission-level modeling, simulation & analysis.
- Have an active Top-Secret security clearance.
