Senior AI Engineer (Agentic AI/Azure/AWS) - Remote
About the role
Provides, guides and uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues. Trains and fine-tunes models using LoRA and other parameter-efficient techniques. Designs, trains, and evaluates multimodal models from scratch. Applies reinforcement learning techniques to model development and optimization. Experience with audio/speech ML tasks such as speaker diarization and speaker identification. Deploys, debugs, and maintains distributed systems in cloud environments. Optimizes inference pipelines using tools and techniques such as TensorRT, quantization, and pruning. Monitors and maintains models in production, including handling data drift and system failures. Performs data gathering, cleaning, and curation to build high-quality training and evaluation datasets.
Responsibilities

- Trains and fine-tunes models using LoRA and other parameter-efficient techniques.
- Designs, trains, and evaluates multimodal models from scratch.
- Applies reinforcement learning techniques to model development and optimization.
- Experience with audio/speech ML tasks such as speaker diarization and speaker identification.
- Deploys, debugs, and maintains distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Optimizes inference pipelines using tools and techniques such as TensorRT, quantization, and pruning.
- Maintains models in production, including handling data drift and system failures.
- Performs data gathering, cleaning, and curation to build high-quality training and evaluation datasets.
- Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Requirements
- 5+ years working with the AWS cloud.
- 1+ years working with the Azure cloud.
- Strong experience with the C4 model and other traditional design artifacts.
- Required Skillset: Java / Golang / Python, JavaScript, Modern Agent frameworks - OpenAI Agents SDK / LangGraph / Google ADK / SmolAgents / comparable frameworks.
- Experience building agentic products or solutions.
- AWS cloud.
- Strong understanding of Software Architecture - C4 Model or similar.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Experience, understanding and knowledge of digital and broadcast production operations and workflows.

Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
