Senior Agentic AI Engineer (Full Remote)

This is a 100% remote contract position with Brain Capital AI, a fast-growing Generative AI startup in the greater Seattle area.
About the Role
As a Senior Agentic AI Engineer, you will own projects from 0 to 1 as we continue to launch new products and features. This is not the typical engineering role where you create a CRUD app and call it a day. We are working on core innovations to improve the productivity of enterprises via automation using Agentic AI. Our client is a very large enterprise with millions of customers.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents for complex enterprise workflows using Azure Agentic AI Platform such as Autogen.
- Utilize GitHub AI Copilot to accelerate development and automate data pipeline creation with vibe coding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify use cases and translate them into AI solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Skills
- 7–10 years of experience in software development using C# or Java, Full Stack (C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python).
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) Test Plan.
- Experience with test case generation, test data generation, and test automation using Generative AI.
- Azure Services: Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.
- MCP framework.
- Microsoft ecosystem experience is a MUST HAVE.
- Playwright, JMeter, Postman, and REST API testing.
- Strong experience with LLM prompt engineering.
- Experience with Cursor or similar No Code / Low Code AI coding tools (e.g., Open AI, Peltarion, Obviously.AI, Levity, RunwayML, Mistral, OpenAI).
- Knowledge of NLP and LLMs.
- Experience with MLOps tools and practices.
- Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Copilot extensibility, Semantic Kernel (including planner, memory, and connectors), and prompt orchestration.
- Preferred: DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledgeable in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Bicep for continuous integration and deployment.
- Preferred: GitHub Copilot.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of work experience with Microsoft Azure.
- 2+ years of work experience with C#.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
