Senior Admissions RN - Command Center

About the role

The Senior Admissions RN coordinates admissions and bed placement for patients requiring admission. This includes admissions from various areas such as emergency departments, direct admits, surgical spaces, and transfers. The role involves chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria to ensure appropriate bed placement and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, EVS, clinical resource office, Administrative Supervisor, Leadership, and other facilities to define, reduce, and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow and access.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: Applicants must actively pursue and attain a BSN within two years of hire. Continued employment is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree.
• Washington Registered Nurse License
• 5 years of RN experience in either ED, ICU, and/or 5 years Acute Care Inpatient Nursing
