What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Collaborate with senior accounting staff to ensure timely accounts payable and cash management operations
  • Oversight of daily balancing of accounts payable input and supervision of the accounts payable accountant
  • Detailed account analysis and reconciliation of various sub-ledgers with the general ledger
  • Preparation of sales and use tax reports and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
  • Training of staff on tax changes and updates to ensure adherence to legal requirements

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
  • Strong skills in budget, purchasing, and procurement procedures
  • Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience using Oracle financial applications
  • Direct sales and use tax experience
  • Familiarity with IRS 1099 forms
