Senior Administrative Assistant - National Accounts
About the role
This position supports National Accounts by partnering with National Account Specialists and office-level administrative employees. The role focuses on client satisfaction, revenue optimization, and account growth through day-to-day client servicing, coordination of regional and national accounts, and regular client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 1-2 National Account Specialists within the program team.
- Handle day-to-day activities servicing clients, including coordinating new and existing regional and/or national accounts.
- Interact with clients regularly to provide support, product updates, and reporting.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of customer account deliverables.
- Schedule client meetings and teleconferences; prepare materials as needed.
- Assist with organizing client events and other assigned duties.
- Stay current with clients' industries, trends, and maintain strong industry relationships.
- Assist with contract support and accounts collections.
- Identify business initiatives and improvements.
- Produce and proofread statements of qualifications and proposals.
- Support the project team by writing, coordinating, designing, and developing proposals and presentations for prime and teaming opportunities.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients during the pre-project/proposal phase to generate business.
- Compile and maintain information in the client database, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with maintaining and updating the client database for regional and national accounts to develop leads and target marketing.
- Maintain and track an active list of all projects for specified national clients.
- Engage in tasks such as tracking data, direct email marketing, and gathering market data.
- Conduct market research to evaluate marketing and communication activities and monitor emerging issues.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to create or maintain marketing materials (e.g., project sheets, resumes, project lists).
- Assist with marketing/business development plans and budgets specific to national accounts.
- Maintain consistent interaction with multiple offices, including principals, directors, and managers, to support marketing strategy for national account growth.
- Assist Account Managers and Executives in nurturing client relationships, managing accounts, and achieving sales objectives.
- Support the organizational management of the national account program, including tracking and reporting accounts quarterly with account managers and the program director.
- Work with Account Managers and Executives to identify new business opportunities with potential customers.
- Provide research, data consolidation, and recommendation development for internal reports, process documents, or industry trend reporting.
- Create work plans and meet project deadlines.
- Occasional out-of-office visits to other ECS facilities may be required.
- Provide administrative support as necessary.
Requirements
- BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of related experience.
