Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as the initial point of contact for the office, including meeting and greeting visitors, answering questions, providing information and resources, and answering multiple telephone lines.

- Handle confidential and sensitive materials in compliance with FERPA and university policies.
- Generate correspondence and reports using word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
- Manage Responsible Redhawks Course utilizing Vector Solutions software.
- Affiliate with updating incidents in Maxient and entering judicial fines.
- Maintain monitoring of Student Professional Development funding for the Dean of Students via the Workflow funding process.
- Send notifications to faculty for the Dean of Students for student absences.
- Respond to inquiries that require a working knowledge of other offices and their procedures, including the Office of Student Conduct, Center for Behavioral Health and Accessibility Services, etc.
- Process purchase requisitions, budget transfers, Chrome River reports in addition to monitoring departmental budgets and expenses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential interactions, documents, and information.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and interact positively with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
- Experience handling emotionally charged situations either by phone or in person.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, and email programs.
- Demonstrated successful experience in monitoring budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Evidence of the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of customer service.
