Senior Accounting Manager

About the role

As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking a technically strong, strategically minded Senior Accounting Manager to lead our accounting function. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, this role is a key member of the accounting leadership team and a cornerstone of our financial operations. You will own the day-to-day accounting function, ensure rigorous GAAP compliance, develop and mentor a high-performing team, and enhance the systems and processes needed to support a growing, high-velocity business.

This position is on-site in Austin, TX. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. Availability to be in-office 4 days a week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is preferred, not required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including prior roles as an Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager in a corporate accounting environment, preferably within Tech, SaaS, or Media.
• Experience with foreign subsidiaries is strongly preferred
• Experience at a Big 4 firm is strongly preferred, not required.
• Deep proficiency in NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Subject Matter Expert level knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 842.
