About the role
As a Senior, Accounting Execution in our Private Equity Advisory team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for private equity clients. You will work closely with the client teams to understand their accounting needs and provide guidance on complex financial transactions.Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements for private equity clients.
- Provide technical accounting support for complex financial transactions and deal structures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including lawyers, tax advisors, and other departments to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to build trust and foster long-term business partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private equity or financial services.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with private equity deal structures and financial reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial modeling tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
