About the role
As an Associate in the Accounting Execution team within our Private Equity Advisory practice, you will be responsible for executing financial close processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Responsibilities
- Execute financial close processes for portfolio companies
- Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC reporting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data
- Support the preparation of internal and external reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
- CPA certification is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
