Senior Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Perform complex account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analyses.
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
Aid in internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules, documentation, and responses to inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, FP&A, and payroll, to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.
Help maintain and improve internal controls, accounting processes, and financial systems.
Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, trends, and business drivers to support management decision-making.
Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward certification preferred.
3-5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a BPO, shared services, or fast-paced corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Self-motivated, with a collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to team success.
Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
