Senior Accounting Analyst

What You Will Do

• Perform the monthly closing of general ledgers, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and reconciliation.
• Complete monthly consolidation of financial results across multiple business units and ensure accurate ledger reconciliation.
• Cook up accounting and financial activities across segments and assist in preparing management reports and ad hoc requests.
• This role may occasionally require work in a mine, outdoor, or manufacturing plant setting.
• You will also perform other duties as requested.

What You Bring To Freeport

• A high school diploma or GED and 9 years of accounting experience, including 2 years of prolonged intellectual instruction in Accounting or Finance.
• An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area and 7 years of professional experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline and 5 years of experience.
• A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area and 3 years of experience.
• A strong understanding of general ledger processes and financial consolidation.
• A commitment to safety and compliance with PPE requirements.

What We Offer You

• The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $90,000-$124,000.
