Senior Accountant, Revenue (New York City)
About the role
The Senior Accountant, Revenue is a key individual contributor on the Revenue Accounting team, responsible for the accuracy and integrity of revenue recognition, sales compensation accounting, and the monthly and quarterly close cycle. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Accounting, this individual works within a structured accounting organization that includes dedicated teams for operational accounting, revenue accounting, and technical accounting.
This is a high-ownership role for a detail-oriented, intellectually curious accountant who enjoys working at the intersection of complex revenue transactions, close operations, and audit support. The right candidate will bring strong technical accounting instincts, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with meaningful exposure to revenue accounting in a SaaS or technology environment
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS 15 (or ASC 606) revenue recognition principles
- Experience with monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet recurring deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Workday, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and Excel
Preferred
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure — strongly preferred
- Experience with sales commission accounting and capitalized contract cost amortization under IFRS 15 / ASC 340-40
- Familiarity with revenue subledger management and reconciliation in complex multi-element arrangement environments
- Big 4 or public accounting experience
- Experience supporting external audits in a senior preparer capacity
- Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization tools used in accounting operations

Pay Range
The base salary pay range for this position is $79,500 to $110,000.
