Senior Accountant - Revenue

Position Details

Located in Houston, Texas and reporting to the Supervisor of Revenue Accounting.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Accurately record monthly revenue, royalty, and transportation costs for assigned properties.
• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Prepare reconciliations and variance analysis for property activities.
• Special projects include research, analysis and creating associated support and schedules.
• Cooperate with other departments in providing information as required or requested.
• Confirm and maintain royalty ownership decks with Land Department Research and respond to revenue inquiries.
• Document processes and procedures for revenue and royalty accounting
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
