Senior Accountant or Controller - Construction
A bit about us:
Our Client is a full service general contractor and commercial construction firm that is licensed in 13 states! Known as South Carolina's OLDEST GC, they serve an array of private and public sector clients in more than 3K+ general construction, design-build, and construction management projects!
Job Details
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP and industry-standard accounting practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (Viewpoint Spectrum experience a plus)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Expertise in Paylocity HRIS
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Qualifications
