Senior Accountant-Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting supports the monthly close and reporting processes at Trilogy Health Services, a senior living provider aiming to be the Best Healthcare Company in The Midwest. This role provides exposure to finance leadership and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Aggregates, analyzes, and validates financial data and other business metrics.
• Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including the Statement of Cash Flows, in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Responds to questions, provides ad hoc analysis, and variance analysis reporting to key stakeholders.
• Partners with financial systems teams to design and implement reporting solutions that support accurate and efficient financial reporting.
• Drives process improvements and automation initiatives within the financial reporting and close process to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
• Ensures adherence to GAAP, internal accounting policies, and internal control procedures while supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for technical and industry-specific accounting, including research, entries, balance sheet recons.
• Supports financial system implementations, upgrades, and reporting improvements.
• Performs standalone and other financial statement audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-8 years of experience
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
