Key Responsibilities
- Lead in the preparation and review of the SEC Form 10-Ks, Form 10-Qs, Form 8-Ks and ensure reports are filed timely and in compliance with GAAP, SEC rules and regulations and SOX.
- Review Earnings Releases, Proxy Statements, Annual Report to Shareholders and other SEC filings.
- Lead in the preparation, review and timely filing of the annual FERC Form 1, quarterly FERC Form 3-Q and OPUC Supplemental reports and ensuring compliance with the FERC Uniform System of Accounts, Accounting Releases, and OPUC rules.
- Assist in developing PGE’s environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) reporting program.
- Perform technical accounting research of new and proposed accounting standards, SEC reporting matters, and other complex accounting transactions.
- Document and communicate complex issues with special focus on analyzing the downstream and upstream impacts of transactional decisions to develop recommendations.
- Financial Systems - Gains proficiency with accounting organization-specific applications and understands how to perform complex calculations/tasks; works with IT and/or vendors to test updates, patches, issues, implementations.
