Vernovis partnering with a local non-profit to identify a Senior Accountant to come in and assist/support the current staff Financial/Accounting Operations.
About the role
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries
Aid with month-end close activities
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support audit requests and internal reporting needs

- Strong experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Solid understanding of accounting principles

- Proficiency in Excel
- QuickBooks Online Experience
Qualifications
Nice to have: Non-profit accounting experience, Grant reconciliations
