Key Responsibilities
- Maintain standard cost systems and analyze manufacturing variances.
- Reconcile raw materials, and finished goods ledgers.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and plant financial statements.
- Partner with production managers to identify waste and optimize yield.
- Assist in developing annual plant budgets and monthly operational forecasts.
- Capture and coordinate physical inventory counts, and support internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years strictly in manufacturing.
- Certifications: CPA, CMA, or progress toward them is highly desirable.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems ideally MS Dynamics 365 or GP
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, data analysis, and cross-functional communication.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
