Senior Accountant

SUMMARY

This position reports Accounting Systems and Support in Corporate Accounting. It will excel in designing data models and visualizations, addressing critical business challenges, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders within accounting functions. The role will engage collaboratively with IT teams, software providers, IT support partners such as Deloitte, and business customers to drive innovative solutions that improve operational performance. It will also involve close collaboration with customer stakeholders to develop customized processes and solutions that align with Tyson Foods' specific business objectives across its global operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to the job being filled. Accounting degree preferred. 12 hours minimum accounting required.

• Experience: 3 plus years of related experience.

• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access); working knowledge of SAP and database systems.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

• Special Skills: Strong critical thinking skills.

• Supervisory: none

• Travel: Limited
