Essential Functions
- Aid in monthly close processes such as revenue, accounts receivable, inventory, payroll, prepaids, fixed assets, and treasury.
- Participate in the monthly consolidation process to provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors for annual 401k and financial reporting audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
- Support ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
- Act as backup for other members of the accounting team.

This role does not involve supervising others.

The position operates in a standard office environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift from Monday through Friday. No weekend shifts are required.
Travel
No travel is expected.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Education and Experience
- A 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience are required.
- Experience with banking cash management systems, including ACH and wire processing, is preferred but not required.
- SAGE Intacct ERP experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- An active (or actively pursuing) CPA certification is preferred but not required.
