Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Analyze revenue, cost of sales and operating expense trends and prepare related accruals.
• Perform inter-company balance review and reconciliation.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, reconcile to fixed asset subledger, and ensure compliance with related policies.
• Analyze physical inventory variances and generate reports for management review.
• Prepare payroll entries and reconcile to payroll reports and source data.
• Review payroll as processed by Human Resources.
• Prepare profit and loss statements for branches and follow up with branches as needed.
• Aid in month-end close, cash management activities, audit preparation, and company merger and acquisition activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
• CPA and public accounting firm experience preferred.
• At least three (3) years of strong experience in an accounting role.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Creativity and outside-the-box thinking a definite plus.

Pay

USD $66,000.00 - $82,800.00 / Year
