Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client in the healthcare space is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting and Finance team. This role will play a pivotal part in our organization, handling a variety of responsibilities that ensure the financial integrity of our business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex month-end close responsibilities
• Apply U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles to financial operations
• Handle revenue recognition under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
• Improve and build financial processes rather than maintaining the status quo
• Work effectively across departments in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Active CPA required
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Previous experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized Top 10 public accounting firm
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles
• Experience with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases)
• Experience with complex month-end close responsibilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively across departments
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Enjoys improving and building processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo

Pay

$100,000 - $130,000 per year, plus bonus.
