About the Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, fixed assets, and performing various accounting tasks including journal entries, inventory valuation, and audit routines. This role requires a combination of technical accounting skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile fixed asset accounts.
• Generate depreciation reports and complete month-end inventory valuation processes.
• Perform month-end analytical reviews to ensure proper recording and classification.
• Audit routine physical inventory counts (three to four times a year).
• Review and match purchase orders and supplier invoices for processing disbursements.
• Support the implementation of the company's new ERP system, Dynamics 365.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to five years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment and public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
