Senior Accountant

The Role

Responsibilities

• Perform the monthly financial closing processes including journal entry preparation
• Maintain and administer accounts receivable records and files among several third-party billing entities
• Perform & maintain month-end reconciliations
• Multi-location financial analysis against budget/forecast & full cycle accounting
• Collaborate with Revenue Analytics Manager to review rate trends, make recommendations on AR valuation, track cash collections, and monitor against accrual rates
• Prepare PBCs and support the financial statement audit
• Maintain AR aging and metrics reports, including reserve rates and days sales outstanding
• Evaluate and recommend solutions for continuous improvement pertaining to level of AR responsibility
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports to summarize AR metrics for management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar experience required
• Two or more years of experience in GL accounting and/or financial reporting required
• High attention to detail and adept with analyzing large volumes of data
• Exceptional reconciliation and analytical skills
• Advanced to Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, index match and v-lookups
• Experience with Great Plains, or similar general ledger platform preferred
• CPA licenses preferred
