About the role

We are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a hands-on role with visibility across the business.

Responsibilities

Own key aspects of the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
Prepare financial reports, analyze variances, and provide meaningful insights to management
Support inventory, cost accounting, and other operational accounting activities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
Partner with the Controller to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiencies
Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives
Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement efforts across the accounting function

Requirements

U.S. Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
Experience within a manufacturing, product-based, or inventory-driven environment preferred
Strong Excel skills and experience with an ERP or integrated accounting system

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Pay

$75,000 - $90,000 USD Per Year
