Senior Accountant
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Pitney Bowes Bank. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2 to 5 years of post-graduate accounting experience, preferably in a bank setting. Key responsibilities include assisting with month-end closing, unclaimed property management, regulatory reporting, and supporting junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the month end closing process (journal entries, reconciliations, reporting)
- Assist with the Bank’s unclaimed property process
- Assist with regulatory reporting (Call report, ALM reporting, etc.)
- Ensure work responsibilities are completed efficiently and accurately
- Act as a mentor to more junior accounting staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience working as part of a team and independently contributing
- Experience in a bank or similar financial institution
- Prior experience with Lease Accounting (ASC842), Bank regulatory reporting (Call report and ALM reporting), and Payment products (loans and deposits)

Benefits
