Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Aid in financial audits by preparing supporting documentation, responding to auditor requests, and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables.
  • Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and posting journal entries.
  • Prioritize and execute finance tasks in a complex, dynamic work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute as an integral member of the finance team.
  • Manage business entity registrations and support ongoing compliance-related activities.
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience required.
  • A high school degree or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred (or actively pursuing).
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliations and day-to-day accounting processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Tax experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
  • Able to focus on key priorities and thrive in a complex and ever-changing environment.
  • A thorough understanding of all policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the job.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to company’s financial growth and profitability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic team environment with ongoing learning opportunities.
