Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly close.
• Maintain assigned balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis.
• Analyze financial activity and investigate fluctuations to ensure accuracy and completeness of results.
• Absorb and analyze cost and expense trends and variances.
• Support preparation of internal financial reports and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
• Aid in audit requests, internal control documentation, and compliance activities.
• Support process standardization and documentation within the accounting function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and data accuracy.
• Comply with company procedures and internal controls.
• Contribute to special projects and system or process improvement initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive general accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Other Requirements: Systems required: SAP and Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills: Power Query, VBA, and Winshuttle/PreciselyAutomate.
