Senior Accountant

Job Details

A well-established, small public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a broad range of client services, including tax, assurance, and advisory work. This role offers hands-on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
• Aid with audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Supervise and review bookkeeping work and related engagements
• Support clients with general accounting and tax-related projects and inquiries
• Aid with training and mentoring junior-level accountants

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s or MBA a plus
• CPA license or active pursuit of licensure
• 3+ years of public accounting (CPA firm) experience
• Experience with common tax and accounting software platforms (e.g., CCH environments, QuickBooks, Sage preferred)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
