Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy across multiple entities or locations
• Support cost accounting and inventory-related activities within a product-based environment
• Affiliate with internal teams to analyze variances, improve processes, and support operational decision-making
• Affiliate with internal and external audits, including preparation of supporting documentation
• Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or product-based environments
• Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting processes
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support
• Exposure to inventory or cost accounting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
