Senior Accountant

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger activity
• Complete monthly account and bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Aid in financial reporting and variance analysis
• Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Aid in fixed asset accounting and reporting
• Aid in budgeting and forecasting initiatives
• Aid in audit preparation and external audit requests
• Partner with accounting leadership on special projects and process improvements
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Experience supporting month-end close activities
• ERP/accounting software experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Public accounting, or multi-location accounting experience is a plus
