The successful candidate will be an integral part of our Accounting team, responsible for managing a wide range of Day-to-Day Accounting tasks to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our operations. Job Details
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional and regulatory standards.
- Oversee and manage all general ledger activities.
- Review and analyze revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and balance sheets.
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
- Aid in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate close and reporting timelines, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
- Work closely with other team members to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), healthcare accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using advanced features of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
