Senior Accountant

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Tech Services industry. This is a permanent position that will play a pivotal role in our accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of AP/AR, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
• Maintain strict adherence to GAAP and stay updated on new regulations and practices.
• Oversee the processing of purchase orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage sales tax matters, ensuring correct application and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and complete.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in all financial matters.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
• Use advanced Excel skills to manage, analyze, and present financial data in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Tech Services industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
• Strong experience in managing AP/AR, purchase orders, and sales tax matters.
• Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and internal controls.
• Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and understandable manner.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, vLookups, and other advanced functions.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate complex financial information to non-financial staff.
• CPA required
