Senior Accountant

About the role

A growing organization is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join its finance team. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and close activities while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of information.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and provide variance explanations as needed
• Maintain accurate general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting
• Support audit requests, internal controls, and special projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Relevant accounting or finance experience preferred
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles and financial statements
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Job Details

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
