Job Details

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and performing account reconciliations.
• Coinciding and executing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and reported on time.
• Conducting financial analysis to provide insights into business performance and aid in decision-making processes.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate reviews and audits.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, providing variance analysis and detailed reports to management.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in financial analysis, financial accounting, general ledger management, month-end close processes, and account reconciliations.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
