Responsibilities
As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the general ledger and ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports, providing insight into the company's financial status and performance.
- Managing payroll, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Oversight of accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are paid promptly and accurately.
- Preparation of financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
- Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Management of the budgeting process, helping to plan and forecast the company's financial future.
- Oversight of the billing process, ensuring all billing is accurate and timely.
- Collaboration with other members of the finance team and other departments to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger management, accounting, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, financial statements preparation, budgeting, financial accounting, financial analysis, and billing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A keen attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies in financial data.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
