Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Recording and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Overseeing the maintenance and reconciliation of fixed assets.
- Assisting with M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Participating in various ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP.
- Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Experience with fixed assets management.
- M&A experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
