About the role
The ideal candidate will lead engagements, mentor staff, strengthen client relationships, and help shape the next chapter of JBA's growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead compilation, and review engagements from planning through completion.
- Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients throughout engagements.
- Aid business owners in understanding financial information and making informed decisions.
- Review staff work and provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance.
- Participate in client advisory and planning discussions.
- Prepare and review business tax returns as needed.
- Research accounting and tax matters and communicate findings clearly.
- Identify opportunities to improve client service, internal processes, and team development.
- Assist with training initiatives and professional development programs within the firm.
Requirements
- Active CPA license required.
- 7+ years of public accounting experience.
- Significant assurance experience including compilations, reviews, and audits.
- Experience supervising staff and reviewing work.
- Experience managing client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
- Working knowledge of business taxation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Professional curiosity and sound judgment.
- A desire to mentor others and contribute to the firm's long-term success.

Pay
$115,000 - $145,000 DOE
