Senior Accountant

About the role

You will report to the Accounting Manager and become part of the Corporate Accounting Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Manage revenue recognition following US GAAP standards.
• Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Work with sales, legal, and operations teams to review contracts and ensure revenue recognition.
• Support month, quarter, and year end reporting activities.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support OneStream reporting.
• Support internal and external audit requests, and participate in efforts to improve audit and control findings.
• Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures.
• Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting CoE and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead the team in implementing best practices.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• GAAP and financial reporting standards knowledge.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9).
• 4+ years experience ensuring SOX compliance.

Compensation

COMPENSATION RANGE: $95,000-$100,000 Compensation is determined on experience and skill.
